Right of Cancellation


You as a consumer (any natural person entering into a legal transaction for purposes the predominant part of which cannot be attributed to his/her business or self-employed professional activities) have a cancellation right for items bought in our online shop as provided for by the following notice:

You may cancel this Agreement within fourteen days, without stating a reason.The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date on which you - or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier - took possession of the last goods.To exercise your cancellation right, you have to send us (M. Westermann & Co. GmbH, c/o Hatraco GmbH, Peutestr. 22a, 20539 Hamburg, e-mail: info@wesco-shop.de) a notification (e.g. by letter, telefax or e-mail) explicitly informing us of your decision to cancel this Agreement. For this purpose, you may (but do not have to) use the sample cancellation notification form attached hereto. You can find the sample cancellation notification form here:

Dispatch of the cancellation notification prior to the expiry of the cancellation period is sufficient for compliance with the cancellation period.


If you cancel this Agreement, we have to reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the additional costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), promptly and not later than fourteen days from the day we received your cancellation notification. Unless explicitly otherwise agreed with you, the refund will be made by the same payment method you used for the initial transaction; in no event will you be charged any fees for such refund.We may refuse any refund until either we receive the goods back or you prove that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earlier.You have to send back, or hand over, the goods to us (M. Westermann & Co. GmbH, c/o Hatraco GmbH, Peutestr. 22a, 20539 Hamburg) promptly and in no event later than fourteen days from the day you inform us of your cancellation of this Agreement. Dispatch of the goods prior to the expiry of the fourteen days deadline period is sufficient for compliance with such period. The cost of sending the goods back will be bourne by us.You have to bear the costs of a loss in value of the goods only if the loss is caused by handling the goods in such way as would not be necessary to inspect the condition, qualities and functioning of the goods.


Without prejudice to the statutory right of withdrawal, we grant consumers the following voluntary right of return for goods ordered from 10 to 21 December 2017: After the expiry of the 14-day cancellation period, you shall be entitled to withdraw from the contract by returning the goods to us by 10 January, 2018. The date of dispatch of goods will be used to determine compliance with this time limit.


There is no cancellation right with regard to distance contracts for- the delivery of non-prefabricated goods which are manufactured based on the consumer's individual selection or specification, or which are clearly customized to the consumer's personal needs; 

  • the delivery of goods which are highly perishable or the expiration date of which would be quickly exceeded; 
  • the delivery of sealed goods which, for health protection or hygiene reasons, would no longer be suitable for return once unsealed after delivery;
  • the delivery of goods which, due to their condition, were inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery;
  • the delivery of sound or video material or computer software in a sealed packaging if the packaging was removed after delivery;
  • the delivery of newspapers, journals or illustrated magazines (except for subscription contracts); 
  • the delivery of alcoholic beverages the price of which was agreed at the time of the conclusion of the contract, but which can be delivered not earlier than 30 days from conclusion of the contract, with their current value being subject to market fluctuations that are beyond the trader's control.


1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Kindly return the goods to us in their original packaging, including all accessories and all packaging components. In case of need, please use an outer protective packaging. If you do not have the original packaging, please provide for sufficient protection against transport damages by using a suitable packaging.
2) If possible, please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
3) Kindly note that the above mentioned items 1 - 2 do not constitute a prerequisite for effectively exercising your cancellation right.
